El Barco Back Bay was born from a simple idea: Boston deserved a Mexican restaurant that didn’t pull its punches. Not another Tex-Mex spot. Real flavor — the kind you find in Oaxacan markets and Mexico City cantinas.

We built the menu around masa, smoke, and agave. Handmade tortillas. Mole made in-house. A mezcal and tequila program that goes deep. And a dining room designed to feel like the party started before you arrived.

We make our tortillas from scratch, every day. Nixtamalized corn, pressed fresh. You can taste the difference immediately.
